Lafayette is a shrewd businessman who owns a market in town where he rents out stalls. Rumors say this has long been a cover for less respectable businesses, and he is well known for being heavily involved in the more underground and shady sections of the town. Despite all this, he still worked his way onto the town council, and may be eyeing the mayor's position itself.

His influence in the dark underbelly of the town stretches far. If there's something questionable going on, it's safe to assume Lafayette plays a part in it. When it comes to the supernatural rumors, however, he steers clears.
