_PERSONALITY_

____Protective: Whether from his upbringing or his nature as an earth guardian, Eklino is very loyal, and protective towards the things he cares about. For now, the only things he really knows are his adoptive father and the cave they call home. He knows in his heart that he will protect these things until he loses his very last breath. Despite beginning his search, he will always return home before too long, he could never fully leave like many guardians do.

____Lonely: Eklino sometimes has a hard time relating to and getting along with other dragons. Being raised by a longneck, the dragon’s language is not his native tongue, something that is very uncommon among dragons. As well as this, the vast majority of longnecks don’t trust him completely, even though he speaks the language fluently. He is and always will be a dragon, and with interspecies tensions rising, it would be fair to say that many longnecks are wary of him. He is a kind and protective soul, but having a claw in two different worlds prevents him from truly belonging in either.

____Willlful: Eklino can sometimes have a bit of a stubborn streak, occasionally getting into arguments with his father when he tries to prevent him from exploring and traveling. Eklino doesn’t know or understand Loghan’s reasons for being cautious, and it causes some strife in the relationship.

_HISTORY_

____Eklino doesn’t know much about where he came from. He was hatched in a sandstone cave and raised by his Longneck father, named Loghan. The longneck language is his native tongue, though Loghan knew enough of the dragon’s language to give him a basic understanding. Eklino is still learning, and he will always have an accent, but he is clever and learns quickly.

____Growing up, Eklino didn’t think much of his living situation, he didn’t know anything else. Loghan taught him language, combat and culture, but Eklino was not allowed to venture far from their cave home. Loghan would panic and become overly angry whenever Eklino even mentioned traveling beyond the cavern entrance. Eklino has grown older now, and begun to feel the pull of his search. Loghan has begrudgingly allowed him to travel during flight holidays in order to find his charge, but tensions are high between father and son, and soon Loghan will have to do the explaining that he has dreaded for all of these years.
