 B I O G R A P H Y
"What would you say to a... *coughs* a game?" Vellath spoke, his voice hoarse and garbled. The Wildclaw sitting across from him narrowed her eyes.
"What sort of game?" At a click from the Coatl's mouth, a massive Hydra slithered forward, all three slobbering heads grinning at the potential player. Vellath points to each head in turn. "These are Lifeless, Heartless, and Soulless. They have the power to predict your distant future. When one of the three deems you *coughs* worthy, they will curl gently around you and show you a scene from a possible event in your timeline. Usually this vision involves the aspect they are named after. A couple years back there was a certain Spiral who played this game, and Soulless took a special shine to him. Something about... shadow kittens? *sputters* Who knows, I only play the game. So! Would you like to take the chance? I should warn you, if you fail, you'll likely be eaten." The Wildclaw shivered, her feathers on end. Slowly though, she calmed herself. She had nothing left to lose, not after what they'd done... what she'd forgotten. Nothing left. All she knew was that her heart had a hole in it, a missing piece that could not be found. If she was lucky, she'd be eaten swiftly. "I accept your challenge, Vellath." She stands and steps forward until the chest of the beast is inches from her face. Its heartbeat vibrates in her own, shaking her body and giving her strength. She looks up. The right head, bearing a skull on her face, slowly lowers to sniff the dragon. Smiling, she wraps around the Wildclaw like a serpent and stares into her eyes. "A child without life will bring you back from the brink, so long as you survive to find her. Good luck, Kerowyn, and may the Shadowbinder favor you."
