Closest friends: Kaspian and Fenrir
Kailen was part of the original trio of warriors that paved the way through the coliseum tiers for the rest of the lair to follow. Although he greatly enjoyed the adventures he had with his closest friends, Fenrir and Kaspian, he retired from the daring grind that pushed them to explore new venues every day and risk their lives for the sake of the lair.
Though he would never openly admit it, he was traumatized by the near-loss of Kaspian after a particularly disastrous battle, and he has made it his personal mission to educate and train young dragons to be strong, swift, and smart in battle so they could avoid the tragedy that Kailen witnessed in the prime of his battle days. Although he returns to the Coliseum regularly to train the newbies, he is significantly more cautious than he once was, and he urges all of his pupils to be the same.
