B I O G R A P H Y
Lynwith was never a dragon to sit still. He naively skipped out on lesson's to spend the majority of his childhood days hunting smaller creatures and getting lost in the darker shade of the woods. When he wasn't away from the clan, he faired his time acquiring various trinkets from the older and more settled dragons. Most of these trinkets, or course, were either "borrowed" or (on rare occasions) traded for. Nearing the end of his relatively happy childhood, Lynwith simply left the clan with claims of being off to find a more exciting life.
The next clan he stumbled upon, while not quite so exciting as he was hoping for, had something much more precious. Emani was a commanding presence from the start and Lynwith couldn't seem to pull himself away from her. For five short years, the pair established themselves as the clan’s best hunters. At the same time as they climbed the ranks, Emani and Lyn nested a clutch of five. At the end of the seventh year, when their drakes had developed into five fine young dragons, sickness took hold of the entire family. The clan healers did everything in their power to help them all get better, but the only survivor was to be Lynwith. The clan, despite him not being quite so skillful without his Emani, tried their hardest to keep Lynwith from leaving afterwards, but the dragon couldn’t bear the daily reminder of what he had lost.
Year after year of travel wore on, Lynwith taking up temporary residence in clans when he needed rest. He distanced himself from others for a long time, eventually starting to take whatever he wanted for his next journey when he left each clan. It was during when of his midnight grabs when a clan’s leader discovered his theivery. Instead of immediately taking back all the goods and kicking Lyn out, the leader gave him an extra share of food for the night and sent him back to his portion of the clan’s land. Lynwith left the next day, taking the share of food- he did, however, stop to give the clan a goodbye.

_MOTHE’S CLAN_
____Lynwith wasn’t sure about staying in this clan, but the “annoying” leader eventually proved himself endearing. Here is where Lynwith finished his training, as well as finding a lover- who promptly died from a long-standing sickness within a month of having a nest. Most of the drakes from this nest survived, sans one who inherited the mother’s illness. Lynwith couldn’t bear to leave just after that, however, taking to training young drakes to get over the second dose of grief.
____Mothe, seeing Lynwith was struggling with his grief moreso than his other clanmates, begged to train under Lyn as a way to get the ridgeback’s mind off of the tradgedy. By the time the wildclaw had been trained, a nocturne who had recently stumbled into the clan was working on wooing Lynwith. He humored her for a night, but couldn’t bring himself to love her like he had loved before- she is still alive for now, but he can’t risk another heartbreak.
_THE NEW CLAN_
____Not long after Mothe's training, and still hurting from his lover's passing, Lynwith took flight again, trying to find a new place to stay. Travelling south from the Crystalspine Reaches, he made it to the bamboo cluster forests of the Reedcleft Ascent, in which he decided to rest before continuing. However, not long after he had settled in, a lone Skydancer found him while he was out on patrol for his clan. Both could immediately see recognize each other as warriors, but it was evident that the Ridgeback had what the other lacked: experience. "You're looking for a place to stay, right?" asked the Skydancer. "Train me, and you will have residence on my land, and all the food you'd need."
____That's how their deal was made. Lynwith trained the Skydancer, named Gravity, almost every night from then on, and as payment, he let the Ridgeback stay at a hollowed-out cave outside the clan's mainland. Lynwith decided to stay out of their sight, for his own wellbeing - it was soon evident that there was tension growing within the leaders, specifically the active leader and the head of defense, which happened to be Gravity himself. At times it felt like he was getting involved, training the Skydancer, since it was evident what he truly wanted to gain strength for - but there wasn't much he could do. Lynwith needed a place to sleep, and food to eat, and all he had to do to keep that was maintain his promise. However, he would not involve himself any further than this, and would not battle for either Gravity or the leader. He had no reason to, anyway.
