Marrow The Moon Gazer About: A Wildclaw stricken with Melanossien, a disease that atrophies the skin and organs to reveal the bones underneath. Dragons with this are called Marorek, and are more or less ostracized, despite the disease not being fatal or painful. Marrow's Melanossien is in its mid stages, with a good portion of his face and hands having already lost their flesh while the rest of him still atrophies. Marrow believes the Moon is a dragon deity named the Starwalker. He believes his disease is a blessing from the Starwalker, a sign of favor from the god in the Moon. Marrow dedicates his life to the Starwalker, and plays his music for the moon every night. Marrow is a kind and gentle soul. He sees the best in everyone and everything, and it is hard for him to grasp that dragons can be cruel or evil. As such, he is easy to take advantage of. Marrow plays the lute, and is fairly good at it. During the day, he plays on the streets and at revenues. On clear nights, he sits upon a cliff and plays to the moon. History: Marrow was born an average hatchling, but quickly showed the telltale signs of Melanossien. Since it is really infectious, he was quickly isolated from friends and family, with his only contact with the outside world being his doctor, who after a while deemed it incurable. After that, no one would talk to him, and he was trapped in his room with nothing but a few books and a lute. With only the window in his room and the lute to entertain him, Marrow quickly took to talking to the sky. He especially liked talking to the moon, the way it shone bright white in the dark night sky reminded of himself. Over time, this developed into idolization, and he came to the realization the moon was a god itself. He threw himself into learning the lute so he could give the gift of music to the being watching over him. After some time, Marrow's family kicked him out of the house, needed one less mouth to feed. Marrow quickly learned to play for food and money, and this became his daily life. Needs: Dusty Sage Set
