Pascalla

Pascalla is the Cove librarian with a gentle nature and a kind smile. He moves with the grace of a ballerina, speaks in a hushed whisper, walks with complete silence, and always has words of overwhelming wisdom and kindness to those weary souls who need a calm touch and a soft voice.

He appears as a pastel sweetheart, always calm and collected and friendly, but always deliberately stepping out of the limelight to let someone else take it. He simply says "I've had it enough" whenever someone asks about it, and his kindness and gentleness makes it hard to press further. No one wishes to upset the dragon who so faithfully cares for their library.

Very few have seen the glimmer in his pale eyes when he touches beautiful items that are reminders of a past full of glitter, gold, silk and silver ribbons. Even less has seen the sorrow and guilt in those same eyes when he reads about hatred spreading over the land he calls home.

Pascalla sings as he works, hums when he reads, and he's so painfully oblivious to his own beauty, to the soft caress he is capable of that leaves others longing for his touch, his attention.

He can often be found, when not attending to a visitor, in his cherry tree inside the library, under the skylights and surrounded by books.
