Biography
Laqueta is a travelling fortune teller, and claims that her "inner eye" will not work unless she has a firm reason to look into the future. Said firm reason usually being the promise of treasure, gems, or some other valuable item that will be given to her at the end of the session.
Of course, whether or not her seeings are real is debatable. Hanson, who actually does have clairvoyance, has his suspicions that this dragonesses tellings aren't exactly true or real in the slightest.
She has her residence near the edge of the Arcanist's realm, but travels more than she actually lives there. Her caravan of candles and inscents can usually be spotted for miles around due to the bright lanterns and shawls that adorn the thing, so those who seek her don't ever have trouble actually finding her. She states that she needs these ridiculous ornaments to work, but it's more likely that she has them to attract attention.
Styx has not once wasted her clan's treasure on such "pointless" and "flanboyant" services, due to Hanson already providing much of what the clan needs as far as future tellings go. However, these attempts to shoo the ridgeback back to whence she came have only sparked her ambition to stay around the outskirts of the clan in hopes of convincing the clan leader to "reconsider".

Laqueta was far from her comfort zone. Far from the cart covered in shawls and lanterns, far from the place she called home. Where was she? She frowned at the wet environment around her. Water dripped somewhere in the distance and it pooled around her claws. The only thing keeping her head dry was a large bowl above her. The water now began to gush, and Laqueta identified the dripping noise as water falling from off of the top of the bowl and onto the ground. The gushing noise grew louder, and the small trickle grew to a waterfall. Now a screen of falling water hid what lay beyond the overhead bowl from the ridgeback's sight. Still, neither the water nor the bowl told Laqueta where she was, and she ignored them. Her attention was instead drawn to a gentle voice that was whispering in her ear. It was sorrowful and quiet; She had to strain to hear the words.
"Do you trust the waters of truth, Arcane Child? Do you trust the future to be in your favor?"
Laqueta's mouth opened and closed like a fish's, then settled on a frown. A corner of her mind urged a reply out of her mouth. But what to say to the mystery voice? Would it even hear her response?
"I trust what I see," she finally replied, "I see clear that the future holds me in it's grip."
The voice sighed. It was a sad sound, and Laqueta's heart ached for it. The rush of water grew faster and a misty spray began to shoot up and around the waterfall. The bowl kept Laqueta dry, but the mist burned her eyes. She sneezed as the voice spoke once more.
"You lie, Arcane Child. Your bed is built on the fibers leftover from a frayed shirt. Your eyes are blind to the future, but see lies lain out in front of you clearer than day. Drink the water, Arcane Child. Drink it and have your sight restored and your bed plush."
Laqueta was unsure of what to say or do. The voice had grown from a whisper to a normal speaking voice in the time it was talking to her. Its words sounded clearer. She considered the waterfall. It would be impossible to get a drink without being assaulted by the rush of water.
