B I O G R A P H Y

Calamity came to the Qo in a particularly unusual way. The Water dragon was wandering about the Shifting Expanse for days without help in search for his own place to call home. At first, Calamity was adamant about not settling with the Lightning Clan, protesting that 'strange happenings' follow him. Lucifer was particularly curious of the young adult's prowess, and with the help of Hexe and Voin, convinced Calamity to at least stay until he found himself a better home.

He began training once he settled into the clan's home, finding the hatchling Ink to be of particular curiousness. A dragon stunted by magic to forever be a child, mind body and soul. Most clans would've want to be rid of the unfortunate soul, as they could not breed, hunt or even do much more than take up space. He decided that he would temper his blade in honor of the Qo.

And so, after many moons, he was promoted by Lucifer to become Captain of the Guard. Calamity, still touched by the graces of the clan's warm disposition towards saving hatchlings and giving them strength and knowledge, decided to become a Nest Guard. Lucifer chuckled, but agreed on the conditions that he play as Guard Captain as well. Calamity, for the first time in a long time, was overjoyed. To protect the nuturing life... That is what he deemed an honorable goal

The quiet but warm presence of Calamity became common among the clan and hatchlings. He made friends with many of the older dragons whom had been with the Qo since the beginning. He learned the trials of Michaelina and Tasha, and how the two struggled to find foundation and a place to call home. One of the dragons asked the Stoic male if he would settle down and have hatchlings of his own. And so he stated, "I carry the blood of my blood in my veins. The crimson I have shed to come here is carried on my scales. Perhaps one day. I will await the right one."

B I O G R A P H Y

The Qo was a well liked clan, he'd come to find. One day, Calamity was escorting hatchlings with their parents. Despite being an Imperial, he didn't seem to mind the Pearlcatcher riding between his wings, having built a tolerance to the species. In passing the meeting area, he would spy a very regal-looking but warm Fae, coupled with a few other dragons. What caught his eye was the Coatl with them. Tasha noticed the Imperial, and invited him and the youngster inside.
Little did he know this small meeting would change his fate.

As the meeting unfolded, Calamity would learn the breathtaking Coatl's name-Demise. They spoke of their duties within the clans while the child Yukio napped within the curl of his tail. Perhaps it was his compassion towards the child of another clan-much less a species Imperials normally disliked, or perhaps it was Calamity's seemingly calm demeanor. The two hit it off. Calamity has since, with permission, played roles in both The Qo Clan and The Lilium Clan. Guarding both of the clan's nests and their hatchlings under the thundering skies. He and Demise grew closer during their passing meets. And, with Permission and both the clan leader's blessings, are mated.

Though.... Calamity has found an in-clan mate, too...
