Biography

J A C E
Tavern Owner | Robber |
His father could never stay out of trouble and this young lad seemed to have adopted that principle. Although he was never allowed to join his father on jobs and stayed with his mother throughout the day, this young dragon still learned some behaviors from his pop. Specifically how to find trouble and how to weasel his way out of it. A winning smile and silver tongue run in the family, leaving his young dragon with the looks and the grin to win almost anyone over. This helps out when trouble, or the law, is not far behind. Train robbing is a rather dangerous business, but this lad couldn't help but admire his father and is uncle for doing it anyway. The riches that can be gained! The glory and fame! His mother strictly forbade him from robbing trains or doing what his father did, on the principle that his pop had been doing it a lot longer. Still, ever since leaving home, this young imperial has never been able to avoid trouble. He actively seeks it, craving the adrenaline it provides. written by Dew His talents fall with his mother's magical abilities, although instead of controlling water, he controls the wind. This skill has aided him in escaping trouble quite a bit, allowing him to gain height during flight and fly faster than his pursuers. He also knows his way around a bar, able to recognize the good stuff from the bad. Although he never worked in a bar, he might as well had! His mother taught him all he needed to know and what deals were the best and which ones weren't. This makes him a rather annoying customer when he's with any of his friends, always knowing if he's being overcharged or if the deal is really too good to be true. Despite this, he's a rather happy-go-lucky fellow. He tries his best to do what he needs to, but he just can't resist causing some problems, especially if he's noticed for it. Can you blame him? His father is a wanted criminal, after all. written by Dew Taking some of his earnings, Jace decided to settle in for a while and pick up his mother's work by opening a tavern in Torque called the Runaway Rail. Fitting, he thinks. Doesn't mean that his robbing days are done, of course, but for now the Rail has been a good source of entertainment--even of that landshark Riviel took a nice big bite out of his living funds just so the blame tavern could be built. Lately he'd been hearing some rumors about some rebel blowing stuff up, as wild as they can get, with a fixation on trains and stations. Well, didn't take a guess for him to assume that his parents had set loose some sibling of his on the world. He met Sam outside of Torque, and after a quick explanation, the two settled in above his tavern so he could nurse some wounds she'd earned during her last job. He can't really see convincing her to give it a rest for long, but at the very least he'll be there for her when she needs him. |
