He knew in his heart that what he had done was evil. So he waited on his tower for judgement.

Japhet, the millennial firebird, was the guardian of Zone 2. He created a venerable paradise for the Elsen that lived there but it was not enough. They began to fear Japhet and forgot that Japhet made this place so perfectly safe just for them. In anger, Japhet began to kill and destroy the zone with specters. The Elsen then feared him, but this was not what he wanted. When a cat, too weak-willed to even kill a bird, tried to eat him, he possessed the cat and began to walk in his skin. The Elsen feared him, even in this new form. Once again frustrated with the ungrateful Elsen, he resolved to kill them once and for all.
He made his perch the top of the library and watched as the specters from the Queen carried out his wrath.
