An Arcane native through and through who doesn't want to be Arcane. Far too much excitement, in his mind. Unfortunately, he is so steeped in Arcane energy that strange events tend to gravitate to him. The buildup of Arcane energy in him manifests itself in bright pink gembond about his body.

The greatest of these strange incidences was possibly through his own foolishness in visiting his homeland again, when wanting to bond more with his often absent mate and deciding to accompany her on one of her adventures. He is very much not an adventurer, and got separated from her in the Starfall Isles.
When she found him again he had transformed from a clown patterned skydancer to a speckled fae. No one really knows what happened and he refuses to talk about it.
His reluctance to talk about it appears to be more from embarrassment than trauma, fortunately. He was rather proud of being a Skydancer and is slightly vain, even if you wouldn't know it from the way he dresses. Chartreuse wool, really?

He is now morphologically unstable, occasionally changing between the two breeds, sometimes at the most inopportune moments. He finds it humiliating.
He also ended up getting some of the feathers of his wing apparel mixed in with his makeup, which spawned the growth of green crystalline feathers alongside his pink Arcane gembond. It luckily does not affect his flight.

Arcane philosophers, mages, and scientists can't seem to decide whether he is harmonious with the Arcane fields that surround and flow through him, or if he is asynchronous with them and that's why they are causing such disruption to him. The magics are just so strong that it is hard to say how they would behave and affect a living being regardless of how well suited it might be to them, especially with them being Arcane magics, which are baffling and unpredictable on a good day. They can't reach a conclusion.
They all agree, however, that they think his situation is "really cool".

Oddly, his competence in sticky situations managed to improve a bit after The Incident despite him becoming one of the smallest dragon breeds, though whether it's from the experience or from the possibility that fae are more suited to his particular brand of strange phenomena is unclear.

He has a slightly easier time communicating than most fae, since he has experience in general non-fae speech. It's still difficult though, and takes a slightly more conscious effort to express his body language, since his fae body tries to communicate what comes to it naturally and so it's a strange battle of muscle memory and instinct. Fae communication is generally one sided on his part, though, fae can generally read his body language (with a little effort, since, to them, he has a few strange tics and mannerisms), but he still can't read fae body language at all.

He sometimes struggles with his diet when a fae. He takes a small comfort in and is grateful for the fact that at least he doesn't have to change his diet completely.

Also a fodder mill. I think I messed up one of the names, though, that's what I get for being lazy and using a list.
I did not intend to make him Rincewind-y, but... in hindsight he's kinda Rincewind-y, so whatever if he has those vibes, he has those vibes... (Except he can do magic, and is in fact the most powerful Arcane mage in the clan... he just doesn't like to.)
