One of many born in to an Ice clan, Keenser has always been interested in history. He was a disappointment to his old clan when they learned he lacked the ability of speech. He was cast out, his Tengu familiar his only friend, and was eventually taken in by Afanasi.

The young dragon showed efficiency when learning about clan history, and despite his lack of speech the clan helped him to create a sign language, which he helps to teach to others, lacking speech or not. After leaning his sign language, Keenser approached Afanasi and told him of his hope to become clan historian.

He has been the Historian ever since, keeping in order everything about the clan, from their time in the old Wind lands to their new home in Plague. His daughter, Sloniowa, stayed with the clan and became it's Ambassador, a feat of which he is very proud.
