Mezzo had a rough early life of not really being able to settle,
until he came upon Clan of the Realm. He felt purposeless and unwanted. He'd brush off rejection but it hurt him deep down. Tazenia spotted him right away and was the one who stood up to his rough persona. It wasn't long until he went along with her on hunts; this allowed Mezzo to blow off some steam.

______ Since then, he has calmed, albeit only slightly. Mezzo is still argumentative - just for the sake of it at times - and very rough around the edges. You don't really know what will tick him off sometimes. One thing to avoid is to ask him about his past. People trying to pry into his emotional life is a huge light for his fuse. The only one he really trusts to that level is Tazenia.
Mezzo loves to fight, whether it's in the Coliseum or just a good old brawl for any other reason. And he's good at it. He may not always necessarily play 'fair'. If you've got a weakness,
he'll use it as best he can to beat you. He won't attack someone unless they are willing to fight, though. In his words, he 'still has some sense of honor'.

He will scarcely say it, but Mezzo is happy now. He has a leader he can respect, and contentment knowing his mate is a companion he will have for life. Nobody has asked him to change, so he can put his short temper and love for a bit of violence to good use. You just have to respect his boundaries.
