"Hello and welcome. You're lucky I"m not too busy today, do come in and sit down. I have plenty of mana for anyone."
Quiet, kind and far more insightful than maybe her older sister, Aranka is spirit personified. As she abhors fighting and being the youngest, was always shielded from the worst Thedas had to offer most days, she instead offers her healing abilities to the fallen or powerful shields to those in the midst of battle. She knows enough about her skill's offensive options to strike a solid blow when need be, but leaves it to those with the stomach to finish the job. Glad to be in a world where dragons mostly get along, Aranka makes a living with herbs, potions and generally playing nursemaid to ailing warriors or coliseum fighters in need of something more than a pick-me-up. No matter her thoughts on such barbaric practices, work is work and all she can do is see those under her care survive to face tomorrow.
Seeing things from such a perspective also makes Aranka skeptical of the old legends and how 'great' some things were. Obviously not if those involved come so close to death it's a miracle they got back up at all. Aranka doesn't tolerate such evident foolishness in her infirmary or her shop when not on call at the coliseum. Instead she puts such fools in their place by muttering curses between bandage dressings and talking any dragon's ear off if they linger long enough to endure her lectures.
One need only understand she does it out of kindness and compassion rather than real irritation with the brutish ideals of the warrior class. There's always a mother hen involved somehow, and obviously Aranka has volunteered herself for the job. Good luck getting her off your case though, you probably earned it.
