Ion

Ion comes from a clan known as the Ancient Guard, situated within the Sunbeam Ruins. Within said clan, he was the mate to Raphael, the head Healer, and he's the father of many. Only one child of his remains within the Ancient Guard clan, however: The Astronomer and Meterologist, Arawn.

His presence in the clan was often overlooked, as he prefered to keep to himself and stayed by Raphael's side. Unfortunately, his relationship with Raphael dwindled over time. Nothing particularly earth-shattering happened to result in their calling it quits, but when it happened, Ion knew he would need to leave. He had no job, no place that wasn't at Raphael's side. A change of scenery was what he needed.

So, he left. He said good-bye to his former love and to their son, who wasn't so excited to see him leave but figured it better than his father leaving to serve Lightweaver with little to no chance of ever seeing him again. Ion will miss them, but his desire to move on is almost a necessity, and he hopes his new clan will provide him with opportunities he's never had.

Soon Ion found himself in an Ice clan led by a mirror named Silver. She was kind, allowing him to stay for as long as he liked, but he knew he wouldn't stay for long. While all of the dragons were nice, and there was nothing inherently wrong, he found the clan a bit too peaceful. So he set off yet again, hoping to find another clan that might welcome him.

Ion was found by the leader of the Mystic clan, Gamzee who brought him back to their den. Greeted by the band of dark and creepy dragons, Ion felt a bit nervous at first but slowly he began to make some friends and has settled down quite nicely.

After leaving the last clan do to various reasons(a wanderlust he would not exactly admit to) he found himself high up in the Twisting Crescendo. The wind caught in his wings and dragged him eventually to a rocky island full of small hole where he found his footing and rested for the night.

When he awoke, he was greeted somewhat gruffly by a small white guardian female, who introduced herself as the protector and matron of the Ascent clan, Uthril. "Another visitor I see." She said with a slight sigh and waved him off to the caves where the others all made their homes.

He found himself among several other travelers and decided to settle down for a bit and see if he could figure out his way from here.
