Vesper's parents were both well-respected warriors of their clan, his father a physical fighter and his mother a mage and ambassador to her home flight. From hatchling-hood, Vesper was eager to become as well-respected and powerful as the both of them, and they would both train him in every way they knew how.

Though never quite as smart as his two brothers and not one for magic, Vesper was quick to learn the ways of fighting and protecting his fellow dragons. His Nocturne father taught him how to duck and weave masterfully through the air in combat, and as an adult, Vesper is surprisingly agile for a dragon of his size. His mother, meanwhile - after being unable to teach him magic - taught him the ways of diplomacy, grace, and kindness. Grace has never quite been his forte, but Vesper is a very kind dragon to those who have not earned his ire.

Not that earning his ire is easy. Vesper is a loving and kind dragon at heart, no matter what he must do in the name of protecting others. When not doing warrior duties, Vesper is eager to help others in whatever ways he can, and is an asset to his clan. Few dragons don't like him - those that don't are typically the sorts who just can't stand optimism. If one thing can be said about Vesper, it's that he's very optimistic.

Just be wary of getting on the bad side of those close to him. An enemy of Vesper's friend is his enemy as well - and he is not a good enemy to have.
