Dusk's youth was spent being moved from clan to clan. His abilities were something that were widely known and sought after, with leader after leader requesting and paying for his services. However, his overseers were greedy and careless, and he found himself in the hands of Beastclans after a successful raid. His time spent among them isn't something he speaks willingly of, though he writes diary upon diary of his thoughts and past - there's no doubt that his years under the beastclans are documented there. He was freed by Dawn, and thanks the Spiral at whatever chance he gets. The experience made Dusk a quiet and subdued creature, almost unsure of himself. He prefers the company of books and scrolls over everything else, and its a peace that Rivia extends to him happily, for her own reasons.
"O-oh, good evening my Empress! You seem in a far better mood this day." He is startled by her arrival, for such a large creature, Rivia moves with a quiet grace. It unnerves him sometimes. The Empress merely hums as she looks over the new stack of books he has obtained.
"I can only hope tomorrow sees me in such a mood as well." She looks to him as he freezes, her red eyes are eerie beneath her hood. She extends a large paw to catch him as he slumps. "Another vision?" "Y-yes...I am sad to say that tomorrow morn will see you get bad news - I, I -" "Do not strain yourself, little one. I'll make us tea." Dusk's ability is an odd one, and one that not many know how to clarify it. It seems almost random what can trigger it, but for one to say a certain word will trigger him into seeing something of their future in relation to that word. The visions exhaust and overwhelm him easily. Hence, he is allowed a large open space to himself and interaction with others is restricted, at his own request.
