A strong Guardian dragon, Mordred is the Broodmother of the clan. She takes care of all the children born in the clan to protect them from other dragons and from predators. She's disgusted and terrified by the thought of eggs, and therefor has never had her own children. She believes that if she did have children, she'd die in the process. So she is the adoptive mother of Marros, Caretaker of the children in the clan, and motherly figure to all. And technically, a sister figure to one of the brilliant women she knows.

Marros and Orchid are her most precious "Children" While Marros needs to be cared for to keep him healthy and active, as he tends to try not eating while thinking that it will positively affect his weight, Orchid is the pride child, doing great things and often helping out with Marros as well on occasion. Mordred also has learned lullabies for her children as well. After all, a good lullaby will always help children fall asleep. She's also created a tight friendship with the witchdoctor Alesya. They bonded over their children troubles, and over their shared curiosity with the Archanist
