Clan Leader

B I O G R A P H Y

Heulyn, born of Light, leader of the Arcane clan of The Forgotten Galaxy. He is a brave and wondrous leader. He is fair in all of his duties, and he has never lead his clan astray.

His beginning, however, was a rough one. He was born into the flight of Light, to an authoritarian clan. He was still very young when he left. What he remembers, however, is a mean leader, who punished all who questioned him, even his own mate. That leader took away his Mother, Sugar, who was a Coatl herself, loved her children more than anything in the world. Sugar was very kindhearted, she couldn't stand to see any of her clanmates hurt. Yet the clan leader punished her sister, and Sugar screamed out in pain at the sight. The scream pierced the leader's ears, and he ordered her to be exiled immediately. Heulyn couldn't believe what he was seeing, and ran away to hide until he could gather his bearings. He hid in a ruined building in The Hewn City, and decided he must leave immediately. He did not want to suffer the same fate as his mother. He left the very next day, and flew west.

B A C K G R O U N D

Heulyn met Estaithe while he was roaming far from his previous home in the Sunbeam Ruins. He had traveled across over half of the world, to The Scarred Wasteland. There he saw her, resting her head on a skull of some foreign denizen. Despite the smell of death and decay coming from the land around, when his eyes met hers, it was like nothing else mattered.

He approached her, and she lifted her head to meet his gaze. She asked him why he was there, and who he was. She was only being cautious. No dragon ever visited The Abiding Boneyard, or at least made it there alive. He explained, and asked her the same. She sighed, and said that she was unhappy with her life in her clan. The clan was not bad, per se, but she did not share the same values, and regretfully left. She traveled far away and managed to get to the edge of The Scarred Wasteland, stopping for a rest, before Heulyn came along.

The two traveled together for a long while, becoming close friends, before finally deciding to form a clan of their own in the Starfall Isles, the land of the Arcanist.
