______ Frostflake was born into the clan as a daughter of the Clan Founders. As a hatchling, she had always loved to watch the sky. On particularly cold days, she would fly just over that water just low enough to dip her tail in. Then she would fly up into the air as the water froze on her tail making a small icicle. She would fly back to the lair and get scolded by a very worried mother. Of course she would ignore this. When she was older, she would dive deeper into the water to try and gain icicles on her wings, but one day, it went wrong. She dove into the water like normal but something struck her, something heavy. She looked at her wings and there were chains. She flapped her wings as hard as she could and managed to make it to dry land. Terrified, she shivered in the cold. She was worried she would never make it back home or even fly again. Suddenly, she heard a distant hoot. As Frostflake looked around she noticed an owl coming closer. When it got close enough, the owl landed, and in its beak was a robe. Shivering, she pulled on the cloak and she instantly felt warmer. She fluttered her wings and they seemed weightless. She smiled at the owl and flew up into the air. She barely even noticed the icy emblem that appeared over her head.
______ Now, Frostflake has named this owl that saved her life, Guardian. She still enjoys the cold even with her traumatic experience. Alcyone offered to break off the chains but Frostflake refused, she keeps them as a memory of the day she discovered her place in the clan. But secretly, she mostly keeps them because of the icicles. Frostflake is a mother to a very rambunctious daughter, Waterheart, but her tale is a completely different story.
