Not far from the kingdom, something was stirring deep underneath the ground. A long time ago, an ancient clan had made the foothills their home, and a fierce battle, between them and a rival clan, had commenced. Teeth and claw clashed, and the battle was brutal. The fighting and destruction went on for two whole days, supplies and moral running then. When all was over with, there was not a single dragon who left the battlefield; all were destroyed by their greed and hunger for power, by their spite and ruthless vengeance towards one-another. The bodies lay where they fell and were covered over by dirt, but now, the Earth was shifting, and the curse of the clans' greed would go far beyond the destruction of their own members, and take new form.

Three imperials had died during the slaughter, and they became melded into one. A hideous, terrifying monster was created by the rotting bodies, with the powers of each dragon that had been made into it. The monstrous beast stood up and roared in anguish, much to the unbeknownst of the kingdom, who was unaware of the threat, celebrating a loud and boisterous festival. Now the emperor lives a few caves from the kingdom, keeping a close watch on the residents from a distance. Rumors have circulated about him from the few messengers or travelers who happened to get a glimpse of him. At least, we know this from the ones who survived getting a glimpse of him.

Of the three heads, one is light, although, past his curiosity, there is little remainder of the brilliant dragon that once existed. This head is the one that seems to be in the most control, the host, if you would. The second is that of a lightning dragon, with the power to bend and warp electricity to it's will. For this reason, thunderclouds always loom over the Imperial, threatening and imposing, and filling him with power. The third head, belonging to whom once was a shadow imperial, is cunning and tricky. He tries to convince the other two heads to do his bidding, and shadows bend to his will, taking the shapes of illusions. Although the three heads have issues with each other at times, all wanting to attack at once, when they work together, they are unstoppable.
