Biography

I5p64Yz.gif Sunbeam
Apparel Salesdragon
Dishonest | Cheerful | Merchant

While exploring the vibrant and artistic Wind plateau, you come across a small, but interesting corner shop. It appears to be a quaint apparel shop, with an older-looking style of wooden sign reading, in fanciful, cursive text: "The Tepid Tailor"
The outside looks old, with dark, worn brick, although it is clean. Through the windows, you see several mannequins adorned in astounding, fiery-themed fabrics. A small Fae mannequin wears a long, glimmering orange dress with an adorable sunhat adorned with orange hibiscus. A mannequin featuring the bust of an Imperial is seen with gorgeous, fiery silks hanging from her horns and veil cleverly slipped over her head, hanging loosely with no obstruction of the eyes. The set is complemented by a shimmering silk scarf resting attractively on the neck. Any dragon would be the talk of the town in such fashionable apparel.

Thoroughly intrigued, you enter the store, pushing past the heavy, creaky wooden door. You are met with a well-kept gallery of gorgeous attire, curiously all in warm colors. Reds, oranges, and yellows line the shop. You stand in awe for only a few short seconds when suddenly, a similarly-fiery Coatl waddles up next to you. He chirps excitedly. For a second, you consider stuttering out that you do not speak Coatl, but you quickly realize that his awkward chirps did barely form a standard Draconian phrase: "Goot morneeg!"

"Good morning," You say in return, slowly for his understanding, but not so slowly it'd be offensive. You glance around the room, almost unsure of where to start, when the Coatl reaches out and prods you in the head.

"What like?" He tweets, his changes of tone sounding almost sad. Ah, Coatls.

"Well... I really liked the silks I saw on the mannequin outsi--"

"Silk! Silk! Okay!" The Coatl interrupts you, his little paws wrapping around one of yours as he waddles rapidly over to one of the corners of the store. You blink, a little surprised by the excitement, but you follow eagerly. Indeed, he brings you to an area absolutely filled with similar silks and jewelry, still in reds, oranges, and yellows. The Coatl looks around, making soft noises that almost sound like frantic grunts, before he grabs a deep, red scarf from a shelf. He turns to you, and goes to begin hooking it around your neck. You feel a little surprised; this crimson color was exactly what you were imagining! A little smile comes onto your face as he arranges the scarf just so. He finally finishes and pulls you over to a large, body-length mirror.

"Like?" He chitters.

"Yes!" You grin, excited, though not quite as excited as he is. "How much for this scarf?"

"Mmmmm," he hums, looking at the scarf. He then looks at you. "Two huntid."

You nearly giggle at his pronunciation, but you hold it back. "Two hundred? Treasure? That's all?" This is such a great deal.

"No," the Coatl murmurs, quiet, "Two huntid toosand."

You pause, then slowly begin to remove the scarf. "Uh... how about... how about this little tail silk?" You ask, holding up a silk with a nice tail clasp.

The Coatl turns his head, then hums, "One tenty toosand."

That's still way too expensive. Curious, you look around for something more fanciful. You find a long, gorgeous, shiny dress, much like the one on the Fae mannequin, and you point to it. "What about for that?"

The Coatl smiles, "Tree fiddy."

You decide it is time to leave.
