Qennu is a very nervous and flighty dragon by nature. He doesn't believe he's well suited to be one of the hunters, but he has his reasons for joining their ranks. His initial motivation to join was to impress his peers; he wanted to prove that he is a strong individual that doesn't need to rely on the support of others. While he doesn't believe this to be true about himself, he wants this to become true. By becoming a hunter, he hopes that he can become stronger and braver and more mature dragon overall.

He sometimes accompanies Elvina in visits to The Keep's pub after long hunting days, and it was on one of these days he met his current mate, Mynnad. Eventually he began to visit the pub of his own accord just so he could speak to her, and their romance eventually flourished from there.
