Hatched from an egg that Aytha and Bailis found while exploring the sunbeam ruins, Torthai was raised as their own and is considered to be their eldest child. He gets along with his siblings and clan members who have been around the longest, but is quite shy with new people. He is an avid reader and looks up to his parents for their optimistic personalities, at times attempting to mimic them with varied success.
