Biography
Chapter One
Romanian mountains are not easy places to live, so it was no longer an option. But I cannot reside in the Gladeveins. The Gladeskeeper does not allow such happenings. I still try to visit my dragons, but years after Charlie and Newt (and obviously the pesky Ministry) gave me permission to breed my dragons, they became a family. A unit all within themselves. Though I can tell through their interactions how they feel, I cannot understand completely. Maybe I never will.
The story began with Kanriss. Loyal Kanriss. While the other dragons have not stayed loyal to me in fear of exalting, Kanriss knows he was the first. We have an understanding between each other. He needed me while I needed him. It’s a cliche at this point (also, a cliche to point out cliches, but what can I do?), but that’s how it is.
But I digress. Let me tell his story.
Kanriss was just a tot. Alone in Romania when Charlie found him. Kanriss had no loyalties at the time. Kanriss had no one to worship. He just had himself. Charlie found him, then gave me permission to raise him. We found residence for a bit in Romania. As the clan grew, it was not feasible. Then Kanriss found the Gadeskeeper. This deity was so gracious to allow Kanriss and his clan to reside in the Gladeveins, but this was when I was separated. It was all up to Kanriss now.
At this time, Kanriss had a beautiful mirror mate. Her name: Elessar. But as soon as I turned my back, she was gone. Kanriss allowed for her to be exalted from the clan. Love was never his strong suit, at least when it came romantically. Though he is strict and arrogant, he loves his clan members.
Cupcake was put into the clan, even though she is not loyal to the Gladekeeper and still holds some loyalty and dedication towards the Flamecaller. Elderyth and Aeronwy followed soon after, both coming from the same clan. Being raised under the nature flight, they also remained loyal to the Gladekeeper. The beautiful Gladekeeper no one will stop talking about, until it’s time to exalt.
Exalting is a necessity. Kanriss understands this. He understood it since he pledged loyalty to the Gladekeeper. But will all the clan members learn to understand and accept this necessity?
