You would think that a dragon as old as her would have spent more of their life traveling, but such wasn’t so with Danny. She was born into her parent’s clan, and there she stayed up until the moment Vertigo swept her away. She suspected that it had a lot to do with the passing on of her life long mate, Targaryen. Sadness had overtaken her, and it was deemed best for her to find something new to create happiness within her life once more. Negotiations were made with a nearby clan within the wastelands. It had only taken a few days before the matriarch of the clan she would be adopted into, came to escort her away from her home.
For the first time since she was a young adult, she had felt nervous. Vertigo was friendly enough, and had tried to get her to open up on the way to their clan’s land. While politeness did not escape her, she couldn’t help but to be reserved in her answers, unable to will away the feeling of dread within her stomach.
She would be lying if she had said that their acceptance of her into their clan didn’t take her by surprise. The moment that she arrived, she was bombarded by dragons of all ages. Each seemed curious about the new addition to their home. Hatchlings draped golden threads around her head, as elders weaved silks of gold around her body. It may have become overwhelming if at that moment Rosalia hadn’t taken her hand and dismissed those around them .
It was only after she found a home within the clan that she once again found Targarian. Her love for him had only grew due to their distance and they stay true to one another no matter how far apart they may be.
