~ ~ ~ A B O U T Eli grew up with a fixation with electronics and circuits, winning invention competitions from a young age he spent all of his time messing with different contraptions and electronic devices. It wasn't long before he was offered a conditional scholarship at age 14 to the university of technology and robotics, the condition being that he must pass the entrance exam. On the day of the exam, he was to build a complex device to solve a specific problem. He was being watched by the school board and several of the teachers and technology specialists. Nerves getting the better of him, he created a fatal explosion which blew half of his body apart and ruining a large section of the university building. He was immediately transported to a untested experimental machine which encapsulated his brain into computer chip and his body was given to a highly renowned university professor who worked for days to rebuild his body, connecting it with robotics and machinery. Eventually his brain chip was reinserted back into his body, with the aim for his memories and his conscious self to seep back into his organic brain. With no memory of what happened, he woke to be told of his condition and his great debt to the university and the staff. His physical self greatly improved, Eli had nothing to complain about and pledged to work his hardest, using his enhanced capacity for thinking and human imagination to help people and create amazing things. As half of his body was now cybernetic, the organic side relied on it for releases of hormones among other things. As a result, he ceased to age in appearance, his body caught mid-puberty unable to fully complete the process of human maturity. The constant hormones made him rather irritable and depressed, making him fairly unpopular around other people his age, only really getting on with other adults and people who possess great intellectual potential. ~ ~
