Sard has a straightforward and blunt attitude. She's the "get it done" girl of Xolotl's rouges; solving an issue as soon as it arises is her way, and anyone who has anything to say about her unorthodox methods of doing so is usually silenced by her quick and venomous tongue. Sard will forever put the well being of her sister first, for Partis is the only thing left in this world that she loves and trusts. She tends to be as reckless in battle as she is deadly, and Xolotl fears for her safety. Unfortunately in the five years that he's had her noting has come of Xolotl's futile efforts and he ended up contemplating whether or not he should ask the Clan Leader to have Sard turned over to Ythodi's warrior group.

Sard and her sister were found by Clan Leader Ji'Bassa and Vanguard Ythodi during their return from a failed summit with one of the clans of the Southern Icefield. She and Partis were nearly buried underneath the thick feet of snow that the blizzards had blew inland; the two of them were barely fledglings then, small and frail and unable to fly as they patiently waited in the spot their parents had left them — they were too young to know what abandoned meant. Many years have passed, but Sard always cursed herself for being so foolish. Even as a child, she should have known that they weren't coming back for them.
