B I O G R A P H Y
One of a pair of twins that were born to Elomuria and the guard Joram, George and his brother Fred have always been trouble. From an early age they were getting into trouble for their pranks and wanton destruction. If anything went "boom" in Amarayne, chances were that it was the twins, especially if they were nowhere to be found at the time. As she was leader at the time Elomuria's already frayed nerves were not helped by her troublemaking sons, and Joram was all bark and no bite, making him an inefficient disciplinarian. Later on they made pranks and novelties their passion. George had always been the better toymaker, and would spend days on end making new prototypes for toys that were entertaining, sturdy and even practical. Even his stuffed toys will have hidden pockets for little ones to hide their treasures in. He seems to know what hatchlings will like and is in many ways young at heart. |

George did not find his love as quickly as Fred did, remaining single for quite some time after his brother had taken a mate. This was one thing the twins could not do together, and it would be accurate to say it did annoy George a little when his brother would blow off their plans from time to time to have romantic rendezvous with his mate Alyreste. He kept quiet about it, however, as he wasn't so sure he wouldn't do the same if he had a mate. Then he got very, very sick. The prognosis was grim. There was an infection in his body that sapped his strength. It looked so certain that he was going to die that he requested the clan's coroner so that he could make the plans and spare his family the trouble, and this was how he met the Spiral Shiloh. She was so upbeat and kind as she did her job and so supportive of his work that when he made a miraculous recovery he began seeing her, to Fred's enormous chagrin. The two are mates now and just as in love as they were at the start. |
P E R S O N A L I T Y
The twins are very similar at a glance; impish, irreverent and brazen, but they are very different people once you get to know them. George is quieter than his brother, preferring a long, subtle buildup rather than a quick, explosive outburst. He can also be more insidious, as while Fred's fuse is short and he blows up quickly George is patient and will plan out his revenge over days, weeks, or even months. It is often said by friends and neighbors that when hard times come Fred gets mad and George gets sad. This is a fairly apt observation on how the twins handle upsetting events. George is a more empathetic being than his brother and often has to act as Fred's conscience when his antics or temper are taken too far. He's also very perceptive of the feelings of others and would rather cheer up someone feeling bad than potentially make them feel worse by playing a prank on them. |
