B I O G R A P H Y

Nova is the definition of insanity. They say that she is infected with the disease of madness. Supposedly, upon arrival in the realm of Plague, she and her two apprentices were on an unsteady course. The storm that had blown them all the way from the Shifting Expanse was whisking them directly toward the Wyrmwound. Selflessly, she launched the two younglings toward safer ground and plumeted into the depths of the cesspool. Poor Nova was never the same. When Farkas and Vilkas awoke from the crash landing, they found her washed up on the bleak shores of the vile lake. Her once immaculate metallic coat was now dotted with pockmarks and imperfections. Her wings were torn and shredded. Her horns themselves had rotted away. And, worst of all, her face and other portions of her body had become warped and unrecognizable.
Now, she is ruthless and cruel. Her job within the Clan is to raise hordes of footsoldiers to send on to their diety, the Plaguebringer. In return, she is rewarded with tremendous strength to protect her dear family for they are the only things she cares about. This caring is the only semblance left of what was once her matriarchal personality.

The young imperial was not always this way. She hails from the land of the Stormcatcher where she was a treasured, gentle mentor to the young ones of the Clan. Farkas and Vilkas were her last charges before the trio found themselves in the Scarred Wasteland. They still love her as if she was a dear friend, but they lament the loss of her former self. Her newfound gruffness can never match her old generosity and warmness.

Nova quickly ascended to the top of the ranks of the warriors. Her skill on the battlefield was unmatched by anyone. Her ruthless desperation to keep those she cared about safe drove her to harden her body and hone her fighting skills. Nova tears away at flesh and crunches the bones of her enemies and adorns herself with what remains to hide her disfigured body and strike fear into those around her. She is adorned by the ancient Boneyard Tatters of the great Plague warriors who have fallen before her. Unlike those about Krahsosaal and Sonata, the rumors that are heard about Nova are true. In fact, they may be less severe than the reality. Some of the rumors, it would seem, have been wrongly attributed to Krahsosaal. Nova is the primary source of evil within this mighty Clan.
