"I might have been born in a hovel but I am determined to travel with the wind and the stars."
Not long after her hatch, a tornado blew through the Starfall Isles, taking the little hatchling away from her family. Not that she remembers it, not that she feels unhappy about it. The only thing she knows is that she has always admired wind dragons. She would always look at the skies and watch how other dragons flew through the air and above the clouds. She has adored the wind and the freedom. Every day, even though she could never keep up, she would set off with the other dragons and fly in the sky. Her wings were fragile, and she was always told that she will never be able to understand the wind, but even like this, after every fall, she would be there at the cliff every morning to jump and ride the wind again.
But one day, when she was flying above the shore between the kites, a big storm came and she was blown away by the strong wind to the far south. A kind tundra dragon who was on a journey at that time found her and took her under her care until Horae healed. As they travelled together on the Snowsquall Tundra, she got attached to Magritte like to an older sister and they stuck together and joined the Clan together.
***
Even though she was born an Arcane dragon, she doesn’t even care about the stars. Still, her favorite thing is looking at the sky. At the bottom of her heart Horae is a resident of the Windswept Plateau. You can rarely find her on the ground - she’s always playing in the sky, and if you don’t see her near, then she must have gone with the wind on a small journey again. She’s one of the messengers of the clan so she can visit her ‘homeland’ frequently.
Facts:
- During Greenskeeper Gathering 2017 she was escorting Magritte to the Gladeveins on a family visit. Since then she has a crush on Nergis, who is a dragon from an affiliate clan. Nergis doesn't seem to know about her, or he doesn't care at all.
- During Mistral Jamboree 2018, she competed in The Cloudsong Color Rush.

The winter and the cold on the Southern Icefield didn't seem to cease, but Horae has been for long counting the days left until the Mistral Jamboree. With this rigid weather there wasn't much to do, no messages to deliver, especially not with her small and fragile body. With nothing to do, she had time to think about the old times, when she was living on the Windswept Plateau, trying to chase the other dragons and flying along with them between the kites. She missed the lukewarm wind, the sunny sky and the green steppes that she could see from above. One week before the festival, she asked the Clan Leader for permisson to leave just for a week.
As she was flying above the green meadows and bamboo forests, the warm wind was gently caressing her skin, and as she was reminded of the freedom she felt when she was flying with the other wind dragons in her childhood, her heart almost exploded from happiness.
Suddenly, she noticed a huge crowd. Becoming interested, she decided to check it out, waiting for and adventure and good memories. It was some kind of competition, and as she saw the excitement on other dragons' faces, she thought she would enter too, and hoped that the rules would be explained later on.
After the race began, everyone started out - dragons were running from every direction to every direction, and it became nearly impossible to move on. Horae almost lost hope, but she discovered an opening between two tents. At first she hesitated, but seeing that advancing between all these competitors and other dragons is impossible, she made towards the tents. "This crowd is crazy, let's get outta here!"

There was nobody at the other side of the tents and Horae could finally move forward in a decent pace. But unfortunately, she tripped in a rope that was supporting a tent.
"Oh no!" she cried when she saw that she dropped one of her color fruits. Seeing that there were ropes everywhere, she decided to go back into the crowd.
The other competitors were already crossing the bridge to the next platform and Horae was hurriedly tring to catch up with them. As soon as she arrived to the bridge she noticed a door. It looked like a shortcut - very tempting, but thinking of her previous experience, Horae decided to stay with the others this time.

At the other side of the bridge was quite a gathering, picnic tables and street performers everywhere. A nice sight and great festival, as expected from the Mistral Jamboree and the Wind flight.
As she was advancing through the pavilion, she cought sight of an other lantern flying high in the skies. Another hard decision to make, and this time too, she was reminded of her own experiences and perhaps not her favourite memories.
The last time she avoided warnings about the Twisting Crescendo, she was spit out by the storm in the middle of the Southern Icefields, and it was not the most pleasant experience. She was sure that staying near the ground would be safer.

It looks like listening to the heart is better sometimes - staying on the ground turned out to be a huge disaster. The unfortunate meeting with a barrel resulted in falling over several times, an aching head, creeping on the ground, loosing two color fruits and the braking of some jars full of delicious jams.
Horae was greatly annoyed by all these happenings and would have rather fled, but her morals prevailed. After all, things can't get worse than this. She decided to help the merchant, even if she didn't have the money to pay for the goods - it's best to settle things fast, than getting an enemy forever chasing her to avenge the jams.

After helping the merchant, they parted and Horae started out to catch up to the other competitors. For a moment it was as if she saw a drainage cover, but slaloming between dragons prevented her from thinking about it very much.
Day 6 wrote:
After running through the bazaar Horae finally cought up to the others. It was almost suspicious that it was this easy to catch up, but soon she found out the cause. The ground was all slippery from paint, and dragons were sliding and stumbling everywhere in the rainbow glaze.
The color party seemed fun, but after seeing some competitors falling and getting injured, Horae decides that maybe she should take an other route. Flying was out of choice because of the decorations, bus she soon noticed a went at the side. It was finally time to catch up, or even overtaking the others!

After sliding through the vent and dodging the slippery meadow, Horae noticed that she arrived to the finish line. Though she couldn't become the first, she could complete the race safe and sound, so she was quite happy with the outcome and was proud at herself.
After everyone crossed the finish line she joined the color party and used up all her seven remaining color fruits in the "battle". In the evening she joined the wind and set out to South, dressed in the colors of the rainbow from tip to toe, with a glad heart and good memories.
