Efren never expected to find a nice place to stay. She tripped over everything, even while in flight, and frequently forgot what she was supposed to be doing. It wasn't her fault, she had just never learned how she was supposed to be.

One day, while she was flying to get new artifacts, she bumped into a tundra. Afraid, she lowered her wings and started to back away, but was surprised when he smiled and scooped her up, holding her in his arms. Reassured, she snuggled up against his chest and fell asleep. When she woke up, she was surrounded by dragons. The dragon, who she later learned was Smaragds, that had picked her up wasn't near her anymore, but his scent was there. These must have been his clan.

Soon, she became part of the clan. She started working with the hatchlings and eggs and found that she really liked it. They decided it would be her role. The hatchlings would be easily enchanted by her gold markings and they sometimes fell asleep staring at them. She even got over her clumsiness and forgetfulness, but not completely.

Efren is also a bit shy, but she's very talkative and happy around the hatchlings. She's also very caring and the others see her as their second mother, even some of the adults. Efren is like a ray of sunshine for them and they're glad she was found.
