Killua was born into one of my famous families of assasins: the Zoldycks. He was probably the most gifted, and had the most potential, of all the family, but killing... wasn’t for him (unless it was for protecting others). He ran away, and decided to do the hunter's exam where he met his first and best friend, Gon. He follows his lead, as Kil didn’t really have anywhere to go, so ended up in many dangerous situations, but supported Gon until he found his father. However Kil is still having trouble with his family, especially with his older brother Illumi, who did the same hunter's exam, and caused him to fail. Illumi is the reason why Killua drifted apart from Gon, for Ill had driven into Kill's head that you run away from fights you can’t win. And he found himself running away from a fight he couldn’t win, yet had to win, for Gon. He is still trying to escape, but it's a lot easier, now he has his little sister, Alluka, by his side.
