Comtesse didn't succeed in fighting career: after her childish wish to become a part of the Vanguard perished, she never greaved much. Brave but hardheaded, blunt and to the point, she aspired to fight evil, romanticising the idea of a warrior by itself. No one forbade her to dream - and Comtesse indulged herself into the aesthetics.
She is the one painting snouts of warriors with bright colors, bringing animal skulls and vivid feathers to decorate their armor, telling heroic bedtime stories about the Vanguard to wide-eyes hatchlings and keeping track of all the monsters, big or small, eliminated.
