Ellis has a talented tongue. That, of course, refers to his linguistic skills; the trilingual dragon seems capable of talking his way into and out of any situation he's faced with. Powers of persuasion and genuine charm are a common characteristic of coatls, but Ellis has turned it into an art, and undoubtedly mastered his medium. The municipality was all too happy to hire someone so charismatic to be their official translator, and Ellis now has his claws full translating speeches and press conferences as the Mayor and other officials speak.

Language and communication being such an integral part of his work and life, it's no surprise that Ellis is a chatterbox, never seeming to stop speaking or humming something. It's also no secret that he's a major gossip, and a snoop; a bad combination when confidential matters are concerned. It absolutely the drake to have to keep an exceptionally juicy secret, but he tries his best (if only to keep his job). Whenever there's a leak in information, Ellis is the prime suspect; but despite his history, nobody's been able to trace any municipal incidents back to him so far...
