Pitch

Originating from the darkest depths of the shadows, Pitch devours the light, creating the endless oblivion that mankind has been fearing since their first breath at conception. It is his presence that squeezes the hearts trapped inside the bone cages of fearful, living individuals.

The light that he unleashes he must be careful. While he consumes the light to create darkness, he can also take that light and unleash it elsewhere. Such is the life of a light elemental.
Perhaps it is his past infected self, Kozmotis, who helps create this harmony within him, that protects him from the damaging effects of illumination.
There is another half to Pitch.

Kozmotis once used to be one with Pitch, but due to a split, it is Kozmotis who is stuck with the ability to control shadows and conversely, consume them to create light.
