A B O U T

The desert night grows cooler than most visitors expect. With the passing of the blazing sun overhead the city is cast in blues and purples, heat seeping slowly from the stone. Pacing the streets one quickly starts to shiver, drawing shawls or scarves close.

Residents motion down the street to a facade hung with glowing lanterns. Opening the heavy wooden door, honeyed light spills from within, the flickering warmth of candlelight. Behind a counter across the entryway, a tall woman glances up with a welcoming smile, long red hair spilling over her shoulder. “Can I get a room ready for you, dear?” she asks. The pale blue of her eyes is the only spot of cool color in the room, and even that is tempered by the warmth of her expression. “Let’s get you feeling right at home.”
