The first pearlcatcher to join the burrow, Wintergreen is a young dragon finding his way in the world. After leaving his parents, Wintergreen joined the nature burrow due to the attraction of wanting to be a founding member of a clan - a leader. However. his youth and inquisitive nature means he is not ready to settle down and have the burden of true responsibility - that can come when he's older. - Wintergreen assigned himself as one of the chief foragers and explorers. Knowing his job benefits the clan gives helps him appease his true meaning of taking the job - an excuse to be out there playing and enjoying life.

After a successful exploration, Wintergreen came home, entered the hoard and dropped off the latest to Eden. Amongst this was the crimson reef snail. Realising he was far from home, too far from home, Wintergreen offered the snail a new home with himself, promising him that if he ever does stumble across the colourful reefs, he'll be the first to let the snail know.
