An underpaid maintenance worker on an electronic advertisement billboard running a faulty prototype auto-translation software meant to magically detect the native language of the viewer and tailor it's text accordingly. Through a magical accident he was absorbed into the electrical currents of the system, now able to communicate only in hopelessly broken translated advertising slogans as his mind slowly corrupts and fades.

The company didn't even take the billboard down afterwards. They're still using it. They don't care.
