Her Origins
▬▬▬▬▬▬ Once upon a time there laid an egg at the root of a massive tree in the center of a wildly overgrown glen. No mother kept watch over the unborn chick, no father stood guard, only the beasts of the fields and forests made certain to keep the youngling safe. A family of Mith tended to the egg until, one day, the shell began to crack, whereupon they scattered behind bushes and boulders to watch the baby awake. Brilliant green eyes blinked curiously at the winged creatures and the tiniest squeak of a roar broke the hushed silence of the glen. The Mith gathered around the little dragon, their wide eyes questioning; how did a Tundra egg end up abandoned in the forest? The great hairy beasts were prone to living in colder climates. The young one had to be a blessing, they agreed. A dragon to protect their forest and care for their home. The GladeKeeper had smiled upon the family of Mith. Hardrock grew up learning the languages of trees, the traditions of the wild beasts and the respect Nature deserved. She was happy and happy to keep predators from harming her adopted family. All had been well until the day she found an unconscious Spiral, bluer than the charged duneberry after a storm, laying half out of the river near her den. She brought the fallen stranger home, tended to his wounds and fell in love. |

Hardrock is hoping to continue growing her clan and expanding her den. All are welcome to join her in her glen, as long as they abide by the laws of Nature and respect the GladeKeeper's wishes. |
