Biography

Aterial and Rupture were gifted to Khloros as pups, an offering from Pestilence who desired to serve her and be her mate. Khloros was amused by this notion, for she didn't have much interest in mating. Why create life when it's so much more interesting to taint it? She strung Pestilence along, experimenting on the poor young mirrors in front of him. Carving wounds into their little forms, infecting them with a multitude of diseases and exposing them to a plethora of putrid infections and noxious fumes. The result was a pair of rabid creatures who knew not but pain and suffering, Khloros' first Carriers that survived her vile torments.

Arterial and Rupture recognize one another as kindred but regard all other dragons as enemies. They hate Pestilence with a burning passion and somewhere in the depths of their insanity recognize him as the direct cause of their suffering. They are terrified of Khloros and become balls of whimpering flesh and blood in her presence.

Seeping Wounds

These mirrors are infected with a blood disease which covers them in open seeping wounds. These wounds cannot be healed, even with the most powerful of magicks, and are forever excreting blood and fluids. While they are constantly losing vitae, these dragons are in fact mortal and susceptible to life ending hazards. Unlike the Skinless, the wounds on these dragons cause them to be in excruciating pain 100% of the time. The constant agony eventually drives these dragons to insanity, making them incredibly volatile, aggressive, and often considered rabid. Once they've reached this state of insanity their clans will usually send them off to serve the Deities or keep them chained and muzzled to be later unleashed upon their enemies.
