False Herald of Light
A traveling priest, he rarely stays in one place as he believes he can help far more dragons by traveling across the world. He was abandoned and raised by light dragons which led to his current occupation. He is rather relaxed and free-spirited as a result of his wind element, unlike most of the more serious light priests. He does try to document his findings and discoveries when possible during his travels. Although he is rather disorganised.

Since he isn't actually light element, his purification power is incredibly weak. His foster parent's pitied him as a hatchling as he was distraught from being unable to master their light magic. They gave him many blessings and relics infused with light magic. He treasures these relics dearly and he takes very good care of them. He can perform simple light spells and purification with them. Although he is nowhere nearly as powerful as a true light dragon. His parents encouraged him to work on his wind magic, which he took to naturally and is highly skilled with it.

Bai is optimistic and does his best to make the most of his situation, spreading knowledge and truths told to him by his foster family via word of mouth. He uses his wind magic to easily travel across the lands. He is not much of a fighter and is flighty for the most part. Often opting to make a quick escape with the wind. If there are dragons that need help, he will do his best to distract the enemy and evade their attacks with his wind boosted agility. He does his best to treat wounded or sick dragons when possible.

Currently he has settled down at the current clan after saving Lilian. He laments that if one of his light relatives had found her instead of him, she might have been saved, but alas, he had to do what was necessary and Light had volunteered to take on part of Lilian's curse. He met Light after watching one of her airshows and they were sharing stories of their travels when he sensed the ominous curse that radiated from Lilian. He told Light to leave but she insisted on following to see if she could help.

It was all he could do to save Lilian at the time with his current power. Light is far too weak to travel and the curse has tied itself deeply to Light's life. Even if he could bring his relatives here, Light may not survive the purification ritual in her current weakening state. He is working with Sigma and exchanges mail with his light relatives to try and find a way to whittle away at the curse while strengthening her body. It has been highly difficult since attempts to strengthen light could backfire and strengthen the curse instead.

Sometimes I wonder if we should even continue our research...she suffers so terribly each day, I can sense her fading more with each passing day and yet we keep her alive...
No...I cannot let her go for my mistakes...she will wake up, we've come too far. We must succeed no matter how long it takes.
