Growl

Growl is the ghost of the lair. Rarely seen by anyone besides his wife or Coo, he comes and goes silently. He is as much a protector as Snicker and formerly Roar, but of a different sort. He stays in the shadows, spiraling through the darkness unseen except for his eyes glaring out of the horned skull he always wears. He takes down threats quickly and efficiently, usually with traps he has set up for his prey. He often brings home much in the way of meats for the family, quietly leaving it with Laugh and growling at her when she tried to make him share in her merriment. He is far too serious, and overly protective of his family.

Few know of how he came to be with Shush, who raised him. He and Meila took a long time to get along but they are on good terms finally and she highly respects him and trusts him and his judgement. He isn't fond of Boom, finding his presence unnerving as he has a habit of running into things without thinking. Even so they don't quarrel though he has taken out things following the clueless wildclaw on multiple occasions.

Despite all this, he has a loyal and beloved mate, Flutter. She is his light so to speak. She is untouchable because of it, her everlasting protector.

Coo is one of the few who knows much of him. Her strong healing skills also gives her a strong skill for things that can kill. He doesn't ask this often of her as she dislikes bringing pain, but when his poisons run low in killing off the more vile things that hurt the lair he goes to her. They have an agreement, and neither speaks much about it.

He also takes great joy in terrifying the young ones in the annual trick or treat with his hissing growl voice scaring the little ones!
