Possessed of sharp mind, sharp eyes and a sharper tongue, Harper is not one of nature's born socialites. It's a pity, then, that that's all anyone seems to expect of her. Left to her own devices she'd be a scholar; as it is, she finds herself deeply embroiled in other people's political ambitions.

Choosing between her family and the right thing to do is fairly straightforward, in the end. Untangling the threads of their plotting is going to be much, much harder...
