Biography

Born to Nature, Alplumia matched her heritage in complete greenness and a nurturing, life-loving personality.

Stolen into Water, gills cut into her body, Alplumia is struggling to find a place in this new and strange clan. The Waterborn hatchlings call her Algae, and she winces, still seeking a way to care for life beneath the waves... even as she looks ceaselessly up, through the murk and shifting shadows, towards the surface and the life she was meant to live.

She and Mesopelagia are very close, and even as Pela attracts a fine suitor, she still makes time for her dearest Alplumia. And Alplumia, in turn, finds herself beset with a stranger, Ice-eyed and precise, who looks at her like a starving dragon beholds a feast hitherto unimaginable...
