Raniya recruited the Pearlcatcher in hopes that the knowledge and power she holds could be useful. Unfortunately for her, Naoki has proved impossible to manipulate. She does her best to make life harder for the Shadow clan Queen, and despite assassination attempts refuses to leave, simply to be contrary. Naoki has a very dark, very twisted sense of humor.
