“Hello young adventurers, what an interesting sight! You two seem very tired, here why don’t you sit for a moment, I have some muskrats around here somewhere…”
The Nocturne glimmered and shone with each movement, yet he was visibly covered in a layer of soot. Helios appeared to be some sort of blacksmith as he had different fires built all over his lair, all with their own kind of set up and purpose. He went over to one that was loaded with some marmots on a spit roast and pulled two off, giving Bucky and Depths one each.
“Alright now that you two have filled up a bit why don’t you tell me why you’re here.”
“.........pardon?”
“Sorry what?”
Helios was flicking his head to the side with each word they uttered.
“You’ll have to speak up lads I can only hear through one side!”
“Ahhh, so the Spiral sent you hmm? But what would he want with my Ensorcelled Volume here? Hmm you know, he must be talking about my old familiar. Yes that must be it but you see I actually just gave it away to a buyer!”
He was looking off into the distance, thinking hard presumably
“No I can’t quite remember the name of the dragon, I do remember her skin had this beautiful gold running through it, her scales looked to be crumbling off like an old tower, and underneath it was the brightest gold I’d ever seen. That’s the best I can remember I hope it helps you two!”
