The Forge-Working Snapper

Searus came to the clan upon hearing they were looking for capable fire dragons in order to help forge metal. It didn't take long for him to make a name for himself as a forge worker, making high quality wires and metal tools and implements. Of course, in addition to his talents, he also has a fiery temper, and many know enough to stay away from him when he's in a foul mood. He does try to keep it in check though, particularly because of his abilities, one of which is the production of steam within his body. The others are the ability to glow, blast foes with a beam of light and send a ball of light forth which explodes.

He met Aera when she became a fellow metalworker for the clan. While she took an interest in him, the feeling was not mutual, the male being rather dense and focused on his work. She soon went from trying to impress him at the forge to bringing him snacks, even entire meals in many cases. It was enough to cause his already overweight form to rise even more. Finally she came out and told him how she felt and he finally got it. They were mated and he would eventually father Saeri, his daughter who would eventually join him and Aera in forging metal.
