tumblr_pelod6tOrq1tv56zio7_75sq.png Olive grew up as a hatchling in the Shrieking Wilds, to a foraging clan known far and wide for their expertise. Although it can be hard to see them beneath the shade of her hat, her eyes have astonished many. There was quite the simple explanation; Her parents, the clans experts on foreign flora, had been foraging in the Tangled Woods, miscalculating when Olive would arrive. She hatched deep within the Wispwillow Grove. Her parents quickly finished up their business to return to their clan.

She was a natural talent at discovering herbs and medicinal plants even from a young age, and it didn't take long before she secured an apprenticship with her clans medicinal dragon. She took to it like a fish to water, and loved learning about the different plants and their uses. Her drive to improve and cure found her foraging all sort of plants, testing out any and all plants she could get her hands on to create new cures and soothes to help her clanmates.

As she grew into a fine young dragon, Olive decided she needed to travel. She'd exhausted all the flora of the surrounding woods for all she could, and still, there were so many things which needed curing. Olive travelled the world for a while, collecting and studying all types of plants and conversely, all types of cures. She also met all types of dragons during her studies, although she wasn't much of a conversationalist. Perhaps the most notable of these meetings were of a young Snapper and an Imperial.
In truth, it was these two occurrences which ended up landing the Skydancer in the Kage clan. Meeting Hongbaoshi, the two travelled together for sometime as she told the story of a desecrated grave, a missing body, and many other things that truly fascinated Olive. As the nights progressed and they grew more exhausted, the pair stumbled upon the Kage clan entirely by luck. Whilst Hongbaoshi found her answer (and several questions), Olive found a community of people dedicated to studying various things, and a Snapper botanist growing plants from all corners of the world.
